RELEASE NOTES – PORTAL VERSION 5.0.0 beta (November 3, 2025)

NEW

New portal design

The portals have been completely modernized and now feature a fresh look. Thanks to a new UI library, many design settings are more flexible and easier to configure.

Overhauled technology & performance

The portals’ technical foundation has been renewed. The result: noticeably faster load times and higher overall performance.

New Flexible and Table views

Both views have been rebuilt from the ground up. Columns can now be filtered, moved as needed, pinned left or right, and shown or hidden. (Note: these customizations are currently local only and are not yet persisted.)

Dark / Light mode

Portal and PortalStation can now be displayed in dark or light mode. By default, the setting follows the system; you can switch at any time via the moon icon at the top of the window.

Free-text search

The search at the top lets you jump directly to a product or display multiple results using filters.

Create products directly in the tree

New products can now be created as child items in the tree view and shown in the correct location. Adding as a child is only possible if the corresponding folder (not a child node) has been selected beforehand.

IMPROVEMENTS

Workflow processes

Significantly optimized: multiple workflows can now be used at different statuses of a product.

Sub-table templates (Excel export)

When adding general fields to a sub-table export, these fields can now be freely ordered.

Text input fields in edit mode

Larger input fields make it easier to enter and edit longer texts.

BUG FIXES

Import / Export

Several issues with data import and export have been resolved.

Comparison list

Various bugs in the comparison list have been fixed.

Sub-table editing

Errors when editing sub-tables in edit mode have been eliminated.

Templates (create / edit / delete)

Various issues when creating, editing, and deleting templates have been fixed.
