Architecture

First, let's briefly outline the system architecture, as this is important for understanding the subsequent points. ADIB comprises two independent components that work together to ideally meet the requirements of ‘security, functional range and usability’ requirements :

  • ‘CentralStation’
    • This is the central component through which you configure data streams (imports, exports and data integrations). It is an intuitive web application.
    • Here you can see at a glance how many data records have been transferred and whether any (connection) errors have occurred (‘logging’).
    • The Central Station is provided as a service by default.
  • ‘IntegrationClient’
    • This is the actual ‘data hub’. It executes the interfaces defined in CentralStation at scheduled times there and transfers the data from the source system to the target system.
    • It then reports logging information back to CentralStation.
    • The IntegrationClient is preferably set up in the customer's network.
    • It is a high-performance Java application.

However, it is also possible to have the IntegrationClient hosted by CONIGON, so that you can have Conigon take over the complete services.

The CentralStation is particularly interesting for the user because this is where all information converges and configuration takes place. You have access to the CentralStation with the purchase of the licence. Please enter your user name and password there to start the configuration.

The following chapter describes the two operating modes of the ADIB IntegrationClient. These are the cloud and on-premise models.
