Components of ADIB
Components of ADIB
ADIB can be divided into the following three components :
- ADIB-ESB
- ADIB portals
- ADIB-Contentserv
ADIB-ESB
ADIB is a modular enterprise service bus solution that features extensive modules and interfaces that you can use without programming.
You can find a good overview of its functions on the Conigon website.
ADIB portals
Unlike other ESB solutions, ADIB has a component that can be used to create portals dynamically. The portal to be created is essentially declared as the target system. The intuitive configuration of the portals influences both the content (e.g. the fields or attributes of the products to be displayed) and the structure of the portals.
With minimal configuration effort – and no software development required – you can generate a portal that could look like this:
.
This makes it very easy for users to find your products, much like a digital product catalogue. They can download product information, generate product data sheets as PDF files, compare products with each other ... With the appropriate authorisation, the data can also be supplemented or changed. These ‘edit portals’ then write the changes back to the source.
A good overview of the functions can be found on the Conigon website.
The elements of the portals are explained in detail in the [following section](TODO:LINK to docucategory = ‘Portals’).
ADIB-Contentserv
ADIB has special modules for Contentserv PIM/DAM that integrate the system seamlessly into your application landscape.
You can find a good overview of the functions on the Conigon website.
