ADIB-ESB
ADIB-ESB
First of all ADIB is a kind of an "enterprise service bus" (or ESB) - like a lot of others. They all have several connectors with which you can exchange data between different "data structures" or applications.
Files {.tabset}
There are different types of files ADIB can cope with. By far the most important ones are excel and csv-files.
CSV/Text files
CSV-files are one of the standards when exchanging structured data from one system to the other. In ADIB you define the separator and delimiter as so called "step-parameters". The content will be defined by the "step-positions" where you can also apply data-transformation and mapping tasks.
Excel files
Of course ADIB is able to import and export excel files. The structure and content of the files can be defined during the creation of the corresponding data-exchange step.
XML files
ADIB version 4 will be released in summer 2022 will have a very flexible and easy-to-use method of importing and exporting XML-files. The mapping of the structure will be done on an easy-to-use web-application via "drag & drop".
Databases {.tabset}
ADIB can cope with different database systems - and new ones will be integrated on later versions. In 2022 we have the following database connectors
Microsoft SQL server

MySQL / mariaDB

SQLite

Microsoft access

Webservices
ADIB is able to call all kind of webservices / web-API. With the help of ADIB CentralStation you define all relevant parameters and the source / or destination of the data. You can then define the fields to be written or read - and when the process should take place. ADIB will then call the web-API at the scheduled time, transfer the data and write back logging information to your monitoring interface in the CentralStation.
There are several "out-of-the box" web-API connectors
- Shopware
- Elasticsearch
- Solr
- and others
We also have adapted API-versions of eCommerce applications used by several customers which show the flexibility of ADIB:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Oro-Commerce
- Drupal
